The Verisk Certified Catastrophe Risk Modeler Program™ (VCCRM™) is a comprehensive and intensive course designed to meet the industry’s growing need for skilled catastrophe risk modelers and managers. The Boston program will have two options for attendance, either virtual or in-person. In-person registrants will attend in Verisk’s Boston office for the full five-day program, and virtual attendees will join the same sessions via Microsoft Teams. To learn more about these two options, read our FAQs!
More than an end-user training, VCCRM provides a deep understanding of how catastrophe models are built, validated, and applied—from catalog generation and uncertainty quantification to advanced analysis techniques, and best practices for interpreting and employing model results.
Students who complete the program requirements earn recognition as a Verisk Certified Catastrophe Risk Modeler (VCCRM) recognized across the industry as a mark of analytical excellence.
