Do I need prior data or technical experience?
No. Verisk Academy is designed for high-potential professionals with little to no formal analytics background. We focus on core concepts, practical application, and business storytelling.
Is travel included in the program fee?
Travel and lodging are not included. The program fee covers educational content, materials, meals, and program-related experiences. Participants and their organizations are responsible for travel and hotel costs.
How much time should I plan to commit each week?
The time commitment to expect is approximately 13 hours or less per week, allowing flexibility for participants as they manage their day-to-day work schedules.
Can multiple participants from the same company join?
Yes. In fact, sending a small group can help reinforce a data-driven culture across your organization and is cost-effective! We offer reduced admission rates for companies sending multiple employees. Please see bundled pricing below:
- Package A: $5,000 USD for one attendee
- Package B: 2 attendees for $7,500
- Package C: 3 attendees for $10,000
- Package D: 4 attendees for $12,000
- Package E: 5+ attendees at $2,500 per person

What happens after I register?
After submitting your registration, the Verisk Academy will confirm your seat via email, along with pre-assessment details and logistical information.
What will this certification and earned accreditation mean for me as an insurance professional?
- 24 CEU credits* applicable to CAS and CPCU industry designations (equivalent to 12 CEU credits for 2-year re-certification)
- Elective credits toward CIDM and ADMA through the Insurance Data Management Association (IDMA)
*Continuing education credits are subject to approval by the applicable accrediting organizations.
What is the recommended conference attire?
The suggested dress code is business casual. Meeting room temperatures vary, so we recommend dressing in layers.
What is Verisk Health and Safety Policy?
Verisk is committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for all event participants. We are working closely with the venue staff to ensure strong health and safety protocols are in place prior to and during the event. The responsibility for a safe and healthy event is shared among everyone; the event organizer, the venue, and all participants.
As part of your responsibility as a participant, if you are not feeling well, you should not attend any events and should do your best to isolate yourself from others. Upon request, Verisk will provide an attendee with a mask. If an attendee needs assistance, notify a member of the Verisk Academy 2026 staff or you can contact Verisk’s Global Protection Services by emailing eventsecurity@verisk.com.
What is the event code of conduct?
Verisk is committed to providing a safe and welcoming environment for all meeting and event participants. All participants, including but not limited to attendees, speakers, volunteers, exhibitors, staff, and service providers, are expected to abide by this Code of Conduct. This Code applies to all Verisk meeting-related events, including those sponsored by organizations other than Verisk but held in conjunction with Verisk events, either in public or private facilities. What is the event filming/photography notice?
Photography, audio and/or video recording may occur during the Verisk Academy 2026 (the "Event"). By registering and attending the Event, I understand that I may be photographed, filmed, and/or otherwise recorded. The collection and use of such images and/or recordings are subject to the Insurance Services Office, Inc. Privacy Notice.

How do I get a receipt of payment?
Once you register, you will receive a confirmation email with a link to download a receipt.
How do I modify my registration?
Click 'Already registered' at the top right corner of your screen next to 'Register now.' Enter the email address you used to register and your confirmation number. Once logged in, select ‘Modify’ from the top navigation. Make modifications as necessary. Click the ‘Next’ button at the bottom of each page to proceed. Once you have made all modifications, select ‘Finish’ from the Summary page.
I can no longer attend. Can I reassign my registration to someone else?
You can change the name and contact information of who is attending the event at any time. Please contact us to make the appropriate changes.
What is the registration cancellation policy?
You must notify us by March 6, 2026, to receive a refund of your registration fee. If you cancel after the date, no refund will be given. However, you may substitute another attendee at any time.

What is the cost to attend VIC 2026?
The original cost of attending Verisk Insurance Conference (VIC) is $1,599. However, with registration of Verisk Academy, you will receive a complimentary pass to VIC 2026!
What is included in the complimentary registration?
Your registration includes:
- All VIC education sessions (Verisk Academy registrants are encouraged to join sessions outside of the hours Verisk Academy takes place)
- Breakfast, morning break, lunch, and afternoon break on Tuesday and Wednesday
- Breakfast and morning break on Thursday
- Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday evening events
What is the Solutions Gallery and when is it open?

Can I bring a guest?
At this time, attendance at the conference is limited to registered participants only, so we’re not able to accommodate guests.
Venue and accommodations
How do I get to ARIA Resort & Casino from the airport?
If arriving at Harry Reid International Airport (LAS), transportation to ARIA Resort & Casino is convenient and accessible.
By rideshare or taxi:
- Taxis and ride-sharing services such as Uber and Lyft are available at designated pickup areas at all airport terminals. The drive to ARIA is approximately 3 miles, or about 10 to 15 minutes, depending on traffic.
Parking at ARIA:
- Valet parking is available at the North and South Valet areas. Rates vary by day and duration; typically $40 - $50 per day, with in-and-out privileges included.
- Self-parking is available in the ARIA parking garage, accessible from ARIA Place off Las Vegas Boulevard. Rates start around $20 - $25 per day, with in-and-out privileges for registered hotel guests.
- Electric vehicle charging stations are available in both self-parking and valet areas; standard fees apply.
How do I reserve a hotel room?
Verisk has arranged a block of rooms at ARIA Resort & Casino for confirmed event attendees at a special rate of $230 plus a $48 resort fee and taxes per night. To reserve your hotel room, please click the 'Reserve hotel room' button on your registration confirmation page.
If you did not reserve your room during the registration process, click 'Already registered' at the top right corner of your screen next to 'Register now.' Enter the email address you used to register and your confirmation number. Once logged in, click the 'Reserve hotel room' button.
The deadline to reserve your room is February 20, 2026.
When is check-in and checkout time?

Where can I get a cup of coffee?
